About Me

Hi! My name is Shaniya and I am from Memphis, TN. I created Kits4Stem as part of my Girl Scout Gold Award to introduce middle schoolers to careers in STEM. This website is meant to contain resources and easy kits that can be used to introduce students to science. STEM is a very important topic for me because I grew up without a very narrow view of what scientists and engineers did. I wished that I had an easy way to access information about different fields. By using some of our kits, I hope you feel more inspired to follow a career in STEM.
